Apple finally fixed the Studio Display—but the new XDR version comes with a price that’s hard to ignore. So… is it actually worth it?

Apple refreshed the Studio Display with Thunderbolt 5, an A19 chip, deeper bass speakers, and a few internal tweaks. But the core display hasn’t changed. It’s still the same 27-inch 5K IPS panel from four years ago. And not surprisingly, this modest update makes Apple’s more expensive Studio XDR look like the smarter long-term buy.
